Post Office Cottage - Lamorna
 
  The Post Office Cottage is a recently renovated 150 year old, single fronted granite cottage. It is attached to the Old Post Office, and has parking for one car at the front of the house.

The lounge retains some of the features, including ceiling beams, exposed granite and an open originalCornish fireplace with a new wood-burning stove (logs provided). The cottage also has electric central heating (included). There is a television with free-view Sky, a video, DVD and stereo. Click on image to view.
 
  The compact kitchen has a dishwasher, combination fridge freezer, microwave, fan oven, hob and washer/dryer.

  The bathroom overlooks the garden at the back of the cottage and has a bath with hand held shower attachment, an electric shower, and heated towel rail. Towels are provided.

  The double bedroom has original pine floors, reclaimed pine bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.  Bed linen (sheets and duvet) is provided

The small second bedroom overlooks the garden and has substantial 3ft bunk beds.  Bed linen is provided.

  The garden at the rear of the cottage has a picnic table and barbeque area, which catches the evening sun and is perfect for relaxing on the long summer's evenings. 
The garden is shared with the Old Post Office, with the fruit trees providing a natural separation.

The Post Office Cottage is perfect for a couple, or small family, who want to relax in a peaceful, beautiful Cornish valley close to the many attractions, coves, and beaches in the Penwith peninsula.  Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets and we do not allow smoking in the cottage.
